Arie Altena writes about new media, art and culture. He is a contributing editor of Mediamatic and Metropolis M. He teaches new media and technology-related courses at arts academies. He co-organized the Sonic Acts festival in 2004 and 2005, and co-edited two Sonic Acts publications. He has an intellectual background in literary theory.
